Waffle Fries, Kale Crunch Salad and a fruit cup are your quick vegan options at Chick-fil-A.

Hissho Sushi (close to security checkpoint 1)

A couple of VeggL’ers have let us know Hisho Sushi offers a vegan-friendly Veggie Sushi that has avocado, carrots and cucumber in it.

Vegan Options at Burger King
Burger King’s French Toast Stick* and Hash Browns*

Burger King offers the accidentally-vegan Impossible Whopper* (order with no mayo) and fries*. If you are there early, the French Toast Sticks and Hash Browns are as well.

Dunkin’ (just after security checkpoint 2)

Multiple bagels (like Everything and Cinnamon Raisin) are available. Avocado Toast and Hash Browns make Dunkin a decent choice.

Tequileria (just after security checkpoint 2 –on your way to C gates)

A VeggL user let us know that Tequileria offers a vegan option called, the Verduras.

Auntie Anne’sOpens in a new tab. (just after security checkpoint 3)

Auntie Anne’s offers a couple of pretzel options that can be made vegan; including dipping sauces. Be aware ordering with no butter is a special order and will take extra time. Verify this can be done at the airport location first. Then be prepared to wait.

With the many options of non-dairy milk (oat, almond, soy, coconut) available at all Starbucks, there is almost an infinite number of vegan drinks you can order.

On the food side, you have a couple of options including Bagels (plain or everything–ask if they have guacamole or a peanut butter packet to top it with) or Oatmeal. Airport locations may be limited so you can also check the ingredients on their snacks.

the Taproom (Gate A3)

A VeggL’er let us know that the Taproom has a Tabbouleh wrap that’s vegan with falafel and several other dishes easily made vegan. Thank you, Emily!

Wendy’s (Gate A5)

Look for fries or a baked potato (order with only chives or plain; NO sour cream or butter). Ask for ketchup, mustard or maybe guacamole.

Vegan Options at Panera Bread
This Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich exceeded my expectations. I changed the Tomato Basil bread out for the Black Pepper Focaccia (amazing!). The drink is a Prickly Pear Hibiscus Fresca – it’s a great summer drink.

Oatmeal, avo toast, salads, grains and my favorite, Panera’s Mediterranean Sandwich (pictured above).  Just order with no Feta and switch out the bread to a vegan-friendly bread like the Black Focaccia bread. JambaOpens in a new tab. (Gate A25)

Jamba offers so many vegan smoothie options. Check out our guide attached for inspo, if needed.

Crown Diner (Gate A30)

Crown Diner is listed as having vegan options on the Charlotte Airport website. We do not have additional info with what your options are though. If you happen to stop by and learn more, please let us know!

Dunkin’ (Gate 32/35 – in the middle)

While there are no vegan donuts, Dunkin’ still offers a few solid vegan options, including Everything and Cinnamon Raisin bagels, hash browns and avocado toast. They also provide almond and oat milk at no extra charge.


Concourse B


Great American Bagel Company (Gate B9)

Ask which bagels specifically do not have animal products (some may contain honey or dairy)–should be any of the following: cinnamon raisin, everything, multigrain, sesame or the baguette.

Then create a Veggie sandwich with cucumber, lettuce, red onion, roasted red peppers, shredded carrots and/or tomatoes. Ask what sauces or dressing would be an option.

Labeled as having vegan options on the airport’s website. Offers craft cocktails along with locally roasted Counter Culture Coffee (a coffee brand founded in NC), as well as locally baked pastries, scones and croissants.

We suggest asking what their vegan options are prior to ordering.
