Charlotte Airport Vegan Options

If you’re currently in the Charlotte Airport and trying to figure out what the best vegan options are and where you can find them, you’re in the right place!

Or maybe you’re a planner like Jen and you’re planning your trip in advance… if so, good for you!

Either way, we have exactly what you’re looking for.

This guide is broken down by concourse in the Charlotte Airport. We share with you the best vegan options in each area.

If you become aware of other vegan food in the airport that we’re missing, especially if it’s a local spot, please reach out and let us know so we can continue to make this guide better for all of the vegan travelers in our VeggL community!

Atrium

Chick-fil-A (next to security checkpoint B)

You can always go with the Waffle Fries if you’re just looking for a quick snack to hold you over to your destination. If you’re wanting something a bit (okay, a lot) more healthy then the Kale Crunch Side is vegan as well.

Finally, this will require a bit of modification, but a modified Cool Wrap is actually really delicious. Order it with NO chicken, cheese or avocado lime dressing. Grab some Polynesian Sauce to dip it in.

Burger King (next to security checkpoint C)

Burger King's Impossible Whopper
Burger King’s Impossible Whopper (order with NO mayo) and Fries

Burger King offers the Impossible Whopper* (order with no mayo) and fries*.

Jersey Mike’s (next to security checkpoint C)

Order The Veggie with NO cheese on your choice of white or seeded Italian bread. A VeggL user let us know this airport location does NOT offer their Grilled Portabella which is the other sandwich we have listed on our vegan guideOpens in a new tab. for Jersey Mike’s.

Thank you for this info, Lou!

Auntie Anne’s (next to security checkpoint C)

Many Auntie Anne’s pretzels are vegan (Original, Cinnamon and a few others) as long as you ask for them to be prepared with NO butter!

Verify with the airport location that they are able to make you a special order and be prepared to wait. The pretzels with NO butter are not an option that is readily available.

Hisho Sushi (close to security checkpoint C)

A VeggL user let us know Hisho offers a veggie sushi that has avocado, carrots and asparagus in it. Since we have not confirmed this, we suggest verifying it is vegan prior to ordering.

Thank you for the info, Lou!

Dunkin (by C Gates)

Multiple bagels (like Everything and Cinnamon Raisin) are available and Hashbrowns make Dunkin a decent choice. Dunkin’ also offers oat, almond and coconut milk (with an extra charge) which makes many coffee combinations possible.

A VeggL user let us know that while Avocado Toast is listed on their menu here, they seem to never have it. Just be aware in case.

Thank you for the info, Nett!

Concourse A

Starbucks (Connector)

With the many options of non-dairy milk (oat, almond, soy, coconut) available at all Starbucks, there is almost an infinite number of vegan drinks you can order using.

On the food side, you have a few options including the Chickpea Bites & Avocado Protein Box and Bagels (plain, cinnamon raisin, everything). You can also check for their Strawberry Overnight Grains and snacks.

Panera Bread (A22)

Panera Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich
This Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich exceeded my expectations. I changed the Tomato Basil bread out for the Black Focaccia (amazing!). The drink is a Prickly Pear Hibiscus Fresca – great summer drink.

Bagels, Salads, Soups – Panera Bread has a little bit of everything when it comes to their available vegan options.

The Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich (pictured above) is a great quick lunch option. Just order with no Feta and switch out the bread to a vegan-friendly bread like the Black Focaccia bread.

Jamba (A25)

Tons of great vegan juice options. The Protein Berry Workout “Power Smoothie” and the Amazing Greens Smoothie are our favorites.

Concourse B

Starbucks Coffee (B10)

With the many options of non-dairy milk (oat, almond, soy, coconut) available at all Starbucks, there is almost an infinite number of vegan drinks you can order using.

A VeggL user let us know Big Daddy’s now offers a burger labeled, The Impossible VEGAN Burger.

Thank you for the info, Alexander!

Beatrix Market (C8)

Beatrix Market is notated as having vegan options on the Charlotte airport website. We have not confirmed what specifically though. Please let us know if you happen to find out!

Starbucks Coffee (C13)

Many vegan drink varieties (with oat, soy, almond or coconut milk) along with bagels, oatmeal and snacks. Also, the Chickpea box which reminds us of an adult version of a Lunchable.

Fresh Market (C15/17)

Grab & go food and snacks. Bagels, a veggie sandwich and wrap are options. Check the ingredient labels prior to buying.

Concourse D

Sambazon (D2)

Acai Bowls. We suggest verifying your vegan options prior to ordering.

Hisho Sushi (between D2 & D3)

A VeggL user let us know Hisho offers a veggie sushi that has avocado, carrots and asparagus in it. Since we have not confirmed this, we suggest verifying it is vegan prior to ordering.

D/E Connector

Jamba (next to security checkpoint D)

Tons of great vegan juice options. The Protein Berry Workout “Power Smoothie” and the Amazing Greens Smoothie are our favorites.

CommonSpace (next to security checkpoint E)

Labeled as having vegan options on the airport’s website. Offers craft cocktails along with locally roasted Counter Culture Coffee (a coffee brand founded in NC), as well as locally baked pastries, scones and croissants.

We suggest asking what their vegan options are prior to ordering.

Auntie Anne’s (next to security checkpoint E)

Auntie Anne’s offers a couple of pretzel options that can be made vegan; including a couple of different dipping sauces. Be aware ordering with no butter is a special order and will take extra time. Be prepared to wait.

Check our Auntie Anne’s vegan guide to see which options you can make vegan.

Concourse E

Einstein Bros. Bagels (E3)

Lots of vegan bagels to choose from (click the link to see the full list on the Einstein Bros guide). Also, some very underrated coffee in our opinion.

Starbucks (across from E11)

Many vegan drink varieties (with oat, soy, almond or coconut milk) along with bagels, oatmeal and snacks. Also, the Chickpea box which reminds us of an adult version of a Lunchable.

Dunkin Express (E28)

Oat, Almond & Coconut milk are available for your coffee. Bagels (NO cream cheese), Avocado Toast (with or without Roasted Tomatoes) and Hashbrowns can give you a decent little meal or snack.

Burger KingOpens in a new tab. (across from E28)

Burger King offers the Impossible Whopper* (order with no mayo) and the fries* are vegan too.

Panda Express (across from E28)

Panda Express Chow Mein and Spring Rolls
Chow Mein, Rice and Spring Rolls from Panda Express (and don’t forget the fortune cookie!)

Chow Mein* and Vegetable Springs Rolls* are all great accidentally vegan options at Panda Express. Pair these with steamed white or brown rice and add a side their yummy Super Greens*.

Cross-contamination info is available on our vegan guide for them but as with any restaurant that is not 100% vegan cross-contamination can/will be an issue. You choose your level of comfort.

Sycamore Brewing (Gate E37)

A VeggL user let us know Sycamore Brewing offers Impossible meatballs with vegan mozzarella and an Uptown burger that has an Impossible patty with vegan cheese.

We have NOT confirmed with the restaurant that these items are in fact vegan. And a menu is not attached to their listing on the airport’s website.  Please ask prior to ordering.

Thank you for the info, John!
