Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Vegan Guide (2024)

Cleveland Airport Vegan Options

If you’re at the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport in Cleveland, Ohio and you’re looking for vegan options (and where you can find them) then you are in the right place! And if you’re not even at the airport yet and you’re here planning ahead then even better!

We’ve taken the time to scour through the Cleveland (CLE) Airport’s Dining Guide to find everything vegan-friendly in the airport and where everything is located.

We are also very fortunate that we have the VeggL community that often reaches out to us to let us know about vegan options that they find in airports as well.

So, without further ado, here is your Vegan Guide to the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

Many of the chains listed in this guide have complete Vegan Guides that can be accessed by clicking on their name.

Subway

Subway Vegan Options
Subway Veggie Patty Sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, bell pepper, banana pepper, cucumber and sweet onion teriyaki sauce. 9/2022

Subway would be an easy sandwich or salad to pick up. Also, look to see if this location offers a Veggie Patty. It is now vegan! Even without it, you can put together a variety of veggies on a sub roll or in a salad and top it with a sauce.

And then make it complete with a bag of chips! …check the ingredients on the bags they offer.

FYI: There is another Subway located in B Gates (across from B6)

Main Terminal

The Main Terminal includes a food court where most of the following options can be found.

Auntie Anne’s

Auntie Anne’s pretzels can be ordered vegan IF they are willing to make yours without the butter that is added BEFORE they go into the oven. This isn’t just a VeggL hack, it’s something that they themselves promote on their website.

We’ve had mixed luck trying to do this ourselves. Some locations are willing to do it and some won’t.

Best case scenario you’ll have a bit of a wait because your pretzel will need to be made and cooked. Worst case scenario you get your hopes up for one of those delicious-smelling pretzels and you end up getting let down.

FYI: There is another Auntie Anne’s in the B Gates Terminal.

Bruegger’s Bagels

Over a dozen different bagels to pick from with your choice of toppings like grape jelly, strawberry jelly, hummus or peanut butter. If it’s lunchtime Bruegger’s also offers a vegan-friendly Vegetable Soup.

And, of course, some pretty good coffee.

Chick-fil-A

You can always go with the Waffle Fries if you’re just looking for a quick snack to hold you over to your destination. If you’re wanting something a bit (okay, a lot) more healthy then the Kale Crunch Side is vegan as well.

Finally, this will require a bit of modification, but a modified Cool Wrap is actually really delicious. Order it with NO chicken, cheese or avocado lime dressing. Grab some Polynesian Sauce to dip it in.

Dunkin’

Plenty of coffee drinks are available with multiple non-dairy milk options.

If you’re also looking for food, there are a couple of different options you can choose from (no, a donut isn’t one of them).

First, opt for a bagel: the Plain, Cinnamon Raisin, Everything and Sesame are all vegan. Just make sure to order with NO cream cheese. At least at our Dunkin’ locations, they will absolutely put cream cheese on your bagel unless you ask them not to (and every once in a while they still will anyway).

The other option I would suggest is either the Avocado & Roasted Tomato Toast or the Hummus & Roasted Tomato Toast. Jen and I were both pretty shocked by how seriously good both of these items are.

A Gates

Starbucks (A1)

Starbucks Vegan Shaken Espresso

There might not be an airport in the country that doesn’t have a Starbucks and the Cleveland Airport is no different.

Way too many vegan-friendly drink options to list here, but you shouldn’t have any issues ordering your coffee or tea.

As for food, a bagel is probably your best bet. Starbucks has multiple varieties of bagels that are vegan including the Plain, Cinnamon Raisin and Everything. Look for Justin’s Hazelnut or Classic Almond Butter as a spread.

FYI: There is another Starbucks in the airport, located near Gate C22.

Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt (B6)

Menchie’s has some amazing vegan options for a frozen yogurt chain. They have multiple non-dairy yogurts on their menu with flavors like Dark Chocolate Mousse made from Almond Milk and Mixed Berry made with Oat Milk.

Not in the mood for yogurt?

Menchie’s has a wide variety of sorbets that are also vegan-friendly. Choose from flavors like Blue Raspberry Ice Pop Sorbet and Fudgy Chocolate Sorbet.

Bottom line, in if you’re in the mood for a bit of a treat while you wait for your flight Menchie’s is a great option.
