Bradley International Airport Vegan Guide (2024)

Bradley Airport Vegan Options

If you’re at the Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut and you’re trying to find what vegan options are available (and where you can find it) then you are in the right place! And if you’re planning ahead right now before you even get to the airport then bravo.

We’ve taken the time to scour through the Hartford (BDL) Airport’s Dining Guide to find everything vegan-friendly in the airport and where all those options are located.

We are also very fortunate that we have our VeggL community that often reaches out to us to let us know about vegan options that they find in airports as well.

So, let’s get right to it, here is your Vegan Guide to the Bradley International Airport.

Vegan Options at Bradley Airport

Landside Lobby (Before Security Checkpoint)

Dunkin’

For anyone that is familiar with the Northeast’s love for Dunkin’, it should come as no surprise that there is a Dunkin’ Donuts (there are 3 actually) inside the Bradley Airport. That’s just fine with us because Dunkin’ has a couple of really good vegan options; avocado toast, hummus toast, and hashbrowns.

Most of their bagels, including the Everything and Cinnamon Raisin varieties are also vegan.

Finally, Oat Milk and Almond Milk are available to add to your coffee if you choose.

FYI: If you want to wait until after you go through security, there are two other Dunkin’ locations – one at Gates 1-12 and another at Gates 20-30.

Starbucks (At the Sheraton)

Way too many vegan-friendly drink options to list here, but you shouldn’t have any issues ordering your coffee or tea. (I recommend the Iced Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso pictured above)

As for food, a bagel is probably your best bet. Starbucks has multiple varieties of bagels that are vegan including the Plain, Cinnamon Raisin and Everything. Look for Justin’s Hazelnut or Classic Almond Butter as a spread.

Fresh City

To be clear, we have NOT confirmed any vegan options at this location. Having said that, this location looks like it could have some potential options.

They specialize in salads, wraps, bowls and stir fry. Check with the staff at Fresh City to confirm any potential vegan options.

Jamba Juice

Over a dozen different plant-based smoothies to choose from straight off the menu. Smoothies like the Apple ‘n Greens and the Smooth Talkin’ Mango require zero modifications and are absolutely delicious.

Jamba even has a few vegan options in addition to their smoothies like the steel-cut oatmeal and a sweet pretzel.

Auntie Anne’s

Auntie Anne's
Auntie Anne’s Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel (order fresh with NO butter) with their Sweet Glaze Sauce.

Auntie Anne’s pretzels can be ordered vegan IF they are willing to make yours without the butter that is added BEFORE they go into the oven. This isn’t just a VeggL hack, it’s something that they themselves promote on their website.

We’ve had mixed luck trying to do this ourselves. Some locations are willing to do it and some won’t.

In the best-case scenario, you’ll have a bit of a wait because your pretzel will need to be made and cooked. Worst case scenario you get your hopes up for one of those delicious-smelling pretzels and you end up getting let down.
