If you’re at the Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut and you’re trying to find what vegan options are available (and where you can find it) then you are in the right place! And if you’re planning ahead right now before you even get to the airport then bravo.
We’ve taken the time to scour through the Hartford (BDL) Airport’s Dining Guide to find everything vegan-friendly in the airport and where all those options are located.
We are also very fortunate that we have our VeggL community that often reaches out to us to let us know about vegan options that they find in airports as well.
So, let’s get right to it, here is your Vegan Guide to the Bradley International Airport.
Vegan Options at Bradley Airport
Landside Lobby (Before Security Checkpoint)
Many chain location names are clickable and will take you to the complete vegan guide for that restaurant. Be aware that airport location menus can vary though.
Dunkin’
Multiple bagels (like Everything and Cinnamon Raisin) are available. Avocado Toast and Hash Browns make Dunkin a decent choice.
Dunkin’ offers oat and almond milk, at no extra charge, which makes many coffee combinations possible.
–> If you happen to stop by either the Paradies Avanti Market or the Samuel Adams Brewhouse, see they have vegan options and would like to help us make this guide better, let us know what they are!
Airside Lobby (After Security Checkpoint)
McDonald’s
McDonald’s offers a Fruit & Maple Oatmeal that can be made vegan by ordering with NO cream.
Starbucks
With the many options of non-dairy milk (oat, almond, soy, coconut) available at all Starbucks, there is almost an infinite number of vegan drinks you can order.
Jamba Juice
Over a dozen different plant-based smoothies to choose from straight off the menu. Smoothies like the Apple ‘n Greens and the Smooth Talkin’ Mango require zero modifications and are absolutely delicious. If you like a plant-based protein powder in your smoothie, they have that too!
Jamba even has a few vegan options in addition to their smoothies like the steel-cut oatmeal and a sweet pretzel.
–> If you happen to stop by either the First Class Deli, Pizza Vino or Charter House, learn they have vegan options and would like to help us make this guide better, let us know what they are!

Auntie Anne’s
Auntie Anne’s pretzels can be ordered vegan IF they are willing to make yours without the butter that is added BEFORE they go into the oven. This isn’t just a VeggL hack, it’s something that they themselves promote on their website.
We’ve had mixed luck trying to do this ourselves. Some locations are willing to do it and some won’t.
In the best-case scenario, you’ll have a bit of a wait because your pretzel will need to be made and cooked. Worst case scenario you get your hopes up for one of those delicious-smelling pretzels and you end up getting let down.
