Kauffman Stadium Vegan Guide 2022 (Kansas City Royals)

Kansas City Royals Vegan

The vegan options at Kauffman Stadium are probably better than you think. You can get a Beyond Burger or Brat from multiple locations along with made to order salads and wraps at the Marketplace (Section 203).

We outline each option and where you can find it inside the Stadium.

We also looked up the policies you’ll want to know if you’re thinking about bringing your own food to a Royals’ game. We share them just below.

Finally, we looked around Kauffman Stadium and found a couple places nearby that you can grab a (vegan) bite to eat before or after the game.

Can I Bring Food Into Kauffman Stadium?

Kauffman Stadium

Here are a few policies you should be aware of if you’re thinking about bringing your own food to the stadium: (These policies were pulled directly from the Kauffman Stadium A to Z GuideOpens in a new tab.)

Bag Policy (as of 4/6/22)

To provide for a safe environment at Kauffman Stadium and expedite entry into the stadium the Royals have outlined the only bags approved for entry into the stadium.

  • (1) Clear bag no larger than 12” x 12” x 6” with all items inside easily visible.

  • One-gallon clear zip-seal bag (Ziploc® bag or similar).

  • Small clutch bags that do not exceed 9″ x 5″, with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options.

  • An exception may be made for medical reason or manufactured diaper bags that accompany infants and young children after proper inspection.

Food and Drink (as of 4/6/22)

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests at the ballpark, hard-sided coolers, alcoholic beverages or other non-clear liquid containers are not permitted.

Guests are permitted to bring food resembling individual portion in a clear, plastic bag no larger than 1 gallon in size. Guests may bring water bottles into the stadium, provided the water is in a plastic 1-liter or smaller sealed/unopened plastic bottle (one per person).

Soft-sided single juice or milk containers or ADA required liquids may be allowed in as well.

Vegan Options Near Kauffman Stadium

Looking to grab a bite to eat before or after the game? Unfortunately we couldn’t really find a whole lot really close to the stadium.

A large majority of the vegan-friendly restaurants in the area appear to be about a 20 minute drive west of the stadium. Here are a few of the ones we found. Feel free to start your search here or start your own discovery.

*Yard House serves both vegan and non-vegan food. While local 100% vegan restaurants are always our first choice, sometimes it’s easier to get non-vegan friends and family on board with a location when the menu is more “diversified”.
