The vegan options at Bank of America Stadium are not anything to get excited about. You have your typical peanuts, fries and chips. According to a rep, they also have vegan salads on the 500 level.
We researched and found everything vegan available inside the Stadium. We also looked up Bank of America Stadium’s policies regarding bringing in your own food if you’re thinking about going that route.
Vegan Options at Bank of America Stadium
Most Locations
- Peanuts
- Popcorn
- Potato Chips
- Fries*
*Fries are cross-contaminated. They share a fryer with animal products. You choose your level of comfort.
If you had seen our previous list which included a vegetable wrap, vegetable bowl and the possibility of a veggie dog, these are not available. We were also made aware that the pretzels are no longer vegan. They butter them with a spray that contains real butter long before the concessions are open–no option to order without.
We received updated information from a stadium rep:
Aside from the listed items above, “On the 500 level, there are prepackaged salads available as well. For a sweet treat, there are vegan and nut free cookies at the Grab & Go market locations.” We were not given any more specific information than that.
And one of our Veggl’ers, Lisa who has season tickets, let us know she found a PB&J Crunch Sandwich at the Grab & Go Market in section 350.

Vegan Options Near Bank of America Stadium
We also did a little bit of research looking around the stadium to try to find a couple vegan spots close to the stadium where you can easily grab a bite to eat before or after the game. This is by no means a complete list, just a couple suggestions to get you started.
Vegan To-Go
1540 West Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28208
Located just 2 miles southwest of the stadium is a local vegan spot called Vegan To-Go. We’ve not been there personally, but the reviews for the place are amazing.
Vegan To-Go started at the local Charlotte Farmer’s Market and has grown from there. They focus on locally sourced ingredients and comfort food. People rave about the Jambalaya – definitely worth checking out before or after the game!
Mellow Mushroom
255 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28202
Mellow Mushroom is not a fully vegan restaurant, but they are one of our favorite vegan-friendly pizza chains. This location is also basically across the street from the stadium.
They have multiple speciality pizzas you can choose from (with slight modifications) or you can create your own with options like follow your heart vegan cheese, tempeh and tofu. For a full list of their vegan options, check out our Mellow Mushroom Vegan Guide.
