Taco Bell’s Doritos Locos Tacos have been around for some time and I keep seeing questions about whether vegans can order them or not. And that’s completely understandable since Doritos are so yummy… or at least from what I remember.

To be fair though, there are accidentally vegan Doritos on the market… hello, Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos. These are not what this shell is made out of though.

Here are our favorite orders at Taco Bell…

Jen: Taco Bell’s Black Bean Chalupa and Fiesta Veggie Burrito with Cinnamon Twists is my new favorite order. I eat a little now–a little later. After trying the Fiesta Veggie Burrito modified a few days ago, I was hooked! My burrito of choice used to be the bean burrito. If you are looking for budget-friendly, a bean burrito would be a better option. Although, the Fiesta Veggie Burrito is on Taco Bell’s Cravings Value Menu.

To make the Black Bean Chalupa and Fiesta Veggie Burrito vegan, order them both fresco style. This will take off all of the dairy in each and add tomatoes. The Black Bean Chalupa will have black beans, lettuce and tomato. The Fiesta Veggie Burrito will have black beans, tomatoes, seasoned rice and fiesta strips.

Ryan: Taco Bell’s Bean Burritos have always been a go-to for Ryan. He typically orders 2 Bean Burritos with potatoes and seasoned rice added. If you like this idea, Taco Bell now has a Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito that can be ordered fresco style to remove the cheese. Add potatoes and red sauce. Sometimes he adds Cinnamon Twists–sometimes not.
