Finding vegan options at Sutter Health Park, home of the Oakland Athletics, has been a struggle for the 2025 baseball season. This may be the ballpark that has provided the least information on their platforms. We have reached out to them and will update as soon as we learn more.
We have also collected SHP’s policies regarding bringing in your own food and drinks as well as a couple of suggestions on nearby vegan spots to eat at before or after the game.

The Oakland Athletics are temporarily relocating to West Sacramento, California, specifically to Sutter Health Park, for three seasons (with an option for a fourth) as they await the completion of their new stadium in Las Vegas, which is projected for Opening Day 2028.
Vegan Options at Sutter Health Park
We searched on the Sutter Health Park website and the MLB website/app for what their vegan options are for the 2025 season. They really do NOT make it easy to learn what their menu items are for the ballpark.

- Peanuts
- Cracker Jacks
- Chips. Check ingredients.

Can I Bring Food Into Sutter Health Park?
Looking to bring your own food to the game? Here are some policies at the Sutter Health Park that you need to be aware of. We pulled these directly from their Security Page.
Bag Policy (as of 4.9.25)
Sutter Health Park’s policy is that all bags be subject to search upon entry, and within the ballpark. Please place all belongings in a clear plastic bag to help ensure fan and staff safety and to expedite your experience at the gates. Approved bags:
- Clear fanny pack.
- 1 gallon freezer bag.
- Clutch with wrist strap/shoulder strap smaller than 8″x5″.
- Clear plastic backpack/tote smaller than 12″x6″x12″.
- Diaper bags.
Food & Drink Policy (as of 4.9.25)
- Outside food/beverages are NOT allowed.
Baby food and formula is permitted.

We did a little research on the area around the ballpark to find a couple of places you may want to check out if you’re getting a bite to eat before or after the game.
These are only two but they are the 2 closest vegan ones.
Plant Power Fast Food
1100 R St, Sacramento, CA 95811
Less than 10 minutes from the ballpark is a 100% vegan fast food joint with burgers like the Big Zac, chicken sandwiches, wraps, salads, nuggets, fries, onion rings, milkshakes, pie and even flurries (which they call Snow Day’s).
Vegan Deadly Sins
900 15th St, Sacramento, CA 95814
2 miles from the ballpark is a 100% vegan restaurant with Asian flare like Sweet & Sour Chicken, Thai Tom Yum Soup, Fried Spring Rolls, Curry Pumpkin Tofu & Mixed Vegetables, Spicy Tan Tan Noodles, Vegan Ham Fried Rice and for dessert, Sweet Sesame Balls.
All gluten-free, peanut, and garlic menu items are clearly marked.
