Multiple attempts to contact the Gila River Arena, home of the Arizona Coyotes, to find out what vegan options are available at the arena have so far not been responded to.
We’ll keep reaching out, but in the meantime we do have the policies you need to know if you’re thinking about just bringing your own food to the arena.
We also have two suggestions for two vegan-friendly locations close to the arena where you can grab some food before or after the game .
Finally, if you’d like to help us out by encouraging the Gila River Arena to get in touch with us, you can reach them at guestservices@gilariverarena.com.
Vegan Options at Gila River Arena
We are not aware of any vegan options at Gila River Arena at this time. It doesn’t mean they may not exist, we just haven’t been able to confirm with anyone at the arena what (and where) they are.
We’ll keep trying to reach out to get this info and will update here as soon as we get it.
If you know something we don’t that can help improve this guide, please reach out to us and let us know!
Can I Bring Food Into the Gila River Arena?
If you’re wanting to bring your own food to the arena, you need to be familiar with a couple of the policies at Gila River Arena. We pulled these directly from their A to Z Guide.
Bag Policy (as of 10/4/21)
Small clutches or wallets are allowed as long as they are larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″.
Food & Beverage (as of 10/4/21)
Guests may not bring food and/or beverage items into the arena during events.
The only exception is unopened plastic water bottles, one liter or smaller. Glass bottles or metal cans are strictly prohibited. Guests must dispose of the unauthorized items prior to entrance into the arena or return them to their vehicle.
Guest Services Centers will not check-in or store any food or beverage items. Guests with specific/special dietary needs due to medical conditions or religious requirements can email Guest Services to discuss food options available.
Vegan Options Near Gila River Arena
We always like to stop close by and get a bite to eat before or after the game and figured other people probably do too, so why not include our research on the area here? So, here are a couple vegan-friendly spots that we found close to Gila River Arena worth checking out.
This is by no means all the available options, just a couple we liked.
Loving Hut
5115 N Dysart Rd #220A, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340
There is a Loving Hut located about 5 miles west of the arena. That’s a little further than we usually like to recommend, but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of fully vegan spots really close to the arena and it appears to be an easy drive over.
If you’re not familiar, Loving Hut is a vegan counter-serve chain with locations all over country (and the world actually). You can’t go wrong with just about anything on the menu. We recommend trying the pho or the dumplings. Both amazing!
Yard House
9401 W Westgate Blvd, Glendale, AZ 85305
If you’re looking for a good place a little closer to the arena than we suggest Yard House. This location is basically across the street from the Gila River Arena.
No, it’s not vegan – not even vegetarian. But, it’s a popular chain that serves a really good selection of vegan options. It’s our favorite spots to eat with our non-vegan friends and family before games.
For everything vegan that Yard House has to offer, check out our Yard House Vegan Guide.
