Vegan Options at Cedar Point (Updated 2024)

Cedar Point Vegan Options

The vegan options at Cedar Point are quite good for an amusement park. For more filling food, look for Hugo’s Italian Kitchen or Melt Bar & Grilled. Otherwise, you will see sweets, fries, nuts and Dippin’ Dots around the park.

We included all the information we currently available on Cedar Point’s website. A few of the locations do not specifically state what is vegan there–you have to ask.

If you happen to stop by one of these locations and learn more, please let us know so we can keep this guide updated.

Hugo’s Italian Kitchen

We had a VeggL user reach out and let us know that they were told a vegan option is not available for the marinara sauce. Per Cedar Point’s website and thru the response of their Executive Sous Chef, it should be. We want you to be aware before ordering.

  • Pasta with Marinara. Request for it to be made vegan.
  • Side Salad. Request for it to be made vegan.

Melt Bar & Grilled

We have been informed by a VeggL user that Melt Bar & Grilled is not open every day. We then contacted Cedar Point and they said they are hoping to have it staffed 7 days/week in July 2023.

  • Black Bean Burger. Choose from 2 different vegan kinds of vegan cheese.

Per Melt Bar & Grilled’s general menu for all locations, ALL fried items share a fryer with animal products. Verify with your server before ordering if this is a concern for you.

Pretzel Fillers

  • Frozen Lemonade

–> I will make note that Cedar Point offers a phone number and email address should you want to contact them prior to visiting to ensure you will have options available:

We are constantly updating our dietary needs information based on our suppliers’ ability to source products. Can I Bring Food Into Cedar Point?

During our follow-up email to Cedar Point in June 2023, their Executive Sous Chef mentioned that food can be brought into the park if you are concerned with having options available:

We always welcome those with special dietary needs or food allergies to bring their own food into the park. the only stipulation is that nothing can be in a glass container. We do not require any proof of need, just stop at guest services on the way into the park and they will let you in.
