Raleigh-Durham International Airport Vegan Guide (2024)

Vegan at Raleigh Airport

If you’re walking through the Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina and you’re looking for what vegan options are available (and where you can find them) then you are in the right place! And if you’re not even at the airport yet and you’re here planning ahead then you get a gold star!

We’ve taken the time to scour through the Raleigh-Durham (RDU) Airport’s Dining Guide to find everything vegan-friendly in the airport and where everything is located.

We are also very fortunate that we have our VeggL community that often reaches out to us to let us know about vegan options that they find in airports as well.

So, without further ado, here is your Vegan Guide to the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

Many of the chains listed are linked to their full VeggL vegan guide. Click on the chain name to see it.

Terminal 1

Starbucks

Starbucks Vegan Shaken Espresso
Starbucks Toasted Vanilla Shaken Espresso

If all else fails you can almost always count on finding a Starbucks inside an airport. They have way too many vegan-friendly drinks to list here, most with either no or only slight modifications needed to order them vegan. I highly suggest checking out our Starbucks Vegan Guide to help with ordering a drink.

If you’re also getting food, I would suggest going with a bagel. Starbucks has multiple varieties of bagels that are vegan including the Plain, Cinnamon Raisin and Everything. Look for Justin’s Hazelnut or Classic Almond Butter as a spread.

FYI: There is another Starbucks location in Terminal 2.

Terminal 1 Notes: The RDU dining guide also mentions that CharGrill offers a plant-based burger and that diners can find specialty menu items (including but not limited to vegan) at ACC American Cafe and Salsaritas. We have not been able to confirm any vegan items at these locations nor if any modifications need to be made. Make sure to check with your server.

Terminal 2

Bruegger Bagels

15 Different Bagel options including, Plain, Blueberry and Everything along with some really good coffee. Top your bagel with spreads ranging from hummus to strawberry and grape jelly.

BurgerFi

Beyond Burger and Fries from BurgerFi
Vegan Beyond Burger and Cajun Seasoned Fries from Burger Fi

BurgerFi has a Beyond Burger on their menu that comes with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions on a Vegan Multigrain Bun. You can also pair your burger up with some BurgerFi fries as well (don’t forget the Cajun Seasoning!)

Jason’s Deli

Jason's Deli Spinach Veggie Wrap

Jason’s Deli has some excellent vegan options.

They have a Spinach Veggie Wrap (order with NO cheese) that is packed full of flavor. Pair it up with Chips & Guacamole and you have yourself a great lunch combo. They also have a Garden Vegetable Soup that I would highly recommend as well.
