The vegan options at Chili’s do not include a lot of main dishes, but there are quite a few sides you can put together or see our notes below regarding their Black Bean Patty.
As of May 2023, the Black Bean Patty no longer contains dairy and egg and is notated as being vegan! We share with you how to modify the menu items so you can order with it.

Chili’s Vegan FAQ

Is Chili’s Black Bean Burger Vegan?
Yes! As of Chili’s allergen guide dated 5.23.23, their black bean burger no longer contains egg or dairy! It is now notated as vegan.
Is Chili’s Corn on the Cob Vegan?
Yes! But make sure you order the Corn on the cob and NOT the Roasted Street Corn as it contains dairy and egg.
Are Chili’s Fajita Veggies (peppers and onions) Vegan?
Yes… with modifications. Chili’s fajita veggies (peppers and onions) are pre-cooked in a butter-flavored oil that is made with soybean oil–no dairy. When served, the fajita veggies are then topped with chipotle butter that contains dairy. You must order yours without this butter topping.

Our Picks
Ryan’s Pick: I really like their new black bean patty because it’s tasty but also has a kick of spice! I ordered it as a sub for the animal patty on the Oldtimer’s Burger with no cheese.
Jen’s Pick: When we recently visited, we ordered an array of items to get pics, etc. I was surprised at how yummy their side of black beans are along with their steamed broccoli and house salad. The citrus balsamic vinaigrette is a nice dressing.
