Universal's Islands of Adventure Vegan Options

There are a good amount of vegan options at Islands of Adventure. Enough to where you’re definitely not going to go hungry and you won’t need to go walking to the other side of the park to grab a bite to eat. (We’ve been there)

With menu items ranging from a Beyond Burger, Vegan Eggplant Parmesan and a Pad Thai you also a pretty good variety of choices too.

Islands of Adventure Vegan Options

–> For ALL dining locations, it is recommended to inform a Manager or Chef’s Assistant prior to ordering if someone in your party requires special dietary accommodations. If you learn helpful information that we can add to the guide, please let us know. 🙂

We also suggest you verify which locations will be open when visiting. When updating the guide, we noticed some locations said temporarily closed.

The following entrees are served with a breadstick. Verify it is vegan prior to ordering.

These two are also listed as a combo but the combo includes a Caesar salad. We have NOT confirmed if this is vegan either (we know regular Caesar salad/dressing is not vegan) so please ask if wanting to choose that option.

  • Vegan Eggplant Parmesan … comes with Breaded eggplant, spaghetti, sliced tomatoes, and sautéed veggies topped with marinara and vegan cheese.
  • Spaghetti Bolognese … comes with plant-based Gardein™ Italian sausage crumbles.

  • Beyond Burger Platter … comes with a plant-based burger, Follow Your Heart® American cheese, garlic veganaise and fries.

Comic Strip Cafe

  • Tofu Ramen … comes with miso broth, edamame dumpling, bean sprouts, scallions and cilantro.

Confisco Grille

Located in Port of Entry

  • Artichoke Hummus … comes with lemon hummus with grilled long-stern artichoke, red bell pepper, heirloom tomato, charred corn, roasted chickpea, red onion, and paprika with herbed pita and lavosh.
  • Superfood Salad … comes with mixed greens, falafel fritters, edamame, tomato, carrot, cucumber, dried cranberry, and roasted garbanzo beans with avocado dressing.
  • Pad Thai. Order the vegan option … comes with rice noodles, mixed vegetables, bean sprouts, and vegan crispy tofu tossed in house-made vegan peanut sauce.

Doc Sugrue’s Kebab House

  • Hummus … comes with fresh made garbanzo bean dip. Served with carrots, celery sticks and pita bread. 
  • Vegan Meatball Kebab Combo … comes with vegan meatballs brushed with chermoula marinade served on pita bread with ajvar sauce, caramelized onions and crumbled feta and choice of chips.

Fire Eater’s Grill

Nothing is notated as being vegan but this restaurant offers falafel gyros and hummus. We suggest asking for the manager or chef’s assistant to ask. If you learn more, please let us know so we can update the guide! 🙂

  • Herbivore Burger Platter … comes with balsamic marinated roasted Portobello mushroom, smoked tempeh bacon, vegan Swiss cheese, vegan secret sauce, Kalera Krunch lettuce and sliced tomatoes on a toasted kaiser roll, served with fries.

Located at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Hogsmeade™

  • Porridge. Order with NO Croissant. Ask if they offer a vegan substitution.
  • Mushroom Pie Platter  … comes with a stewed jackfruit and mushroom pie served with a cucumber, and tomato side salad with lemon Thyme vinaigrette dressing.

Can You Bring Your Own Food Into Islands of Adventure?

According to Universal’s Website:

You’re also welcome to bring your own food if you prefer. Simply notify a Security Team Member performing the security bag check at the front gate that you or a member of your party has a food allergy/intolerance. Items should be contained in a soft-sided cooler; glass is not allowed.

Universal Orlando guests staying at one of our hotels may keep food refrigerated in their hotel room. The hotel is unable to hold food in its kitchen on behalf of the guest.
