Tampa International Airport Vegan Guide (2024)

Tampa Airport Vegan Options

Are you currently looking for vegan options at the Tampa International Airport?

You’re in the right place!

In this guide we’ll break down each concourse, giving you the best vegan options available, where they are, and a couple of menu suggestions.

Finally, we found quite a few local restaurants inside the airport, but could not determine if any offered vegan options. If you know of any that we’re missing, please reach out and let us know so we can improve this guide for all the vegan travelers in our VeggL community!

Vegan Options at Tampa Airport

Many chain location names are clickable and will take you to the complete vegan guide for that restaurant. Be aware that airport locations may vary in menu options.

Main Terminal

All of the Tampa Main Terminal options are pre-security on Level 3.

Chick-fil-A

You can always go with the Waffle Fries if you’re just looking for a quick snack to hold you over to your destination. If you’re wanting something a bit (okay, a lot) more healthy then the Kale Crunch Side is vegan as well.

Finally, this will require a bit of modification, but a modified Cool Wrap is actually really delicious. Order it with NO chicken, cheese or avocado lime dressing. Grab some Polynesian Sauce to dip it in.

P.F. Chang’s

Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps. P.F. Changs 2022

Options and preparation may vary by location. Let your server know you are vegan. Ask for more information on the ingredients used in the following options before ordering.

Our favorites from P.F. Chang’s are their Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps, Ma Po Tofu and Buddha’s Feast.

Qdoba

Qdoba has some excellent vegan options. Impossible Meat is always a toss-up on whether it will be at any location nowadays but you still have plenty to choose from including their rice, beans, fajita veggies, salsas, chips, and guacamole.

Low stress ordering and delicious food make Qdoba a great pick.

Starbucks (Level 1 Red Bag Claim)

Way too many vegan-friendly drink options to list here (check out our Starbucks Vegan Guide for the full list), but you shouldn’t have any issues ordering your coffee or tea.

As for food, a bagel is probably your best bet. Starbucks has multiple varieties of bagels that are vegan including the Plain, Cinnamon Raisin and Everything. Look for Justin’s Hazelnut or Classic Almond Butter as a spread.

Airside A

According to the Tampa Airport, “Average walk time from one end of this airside to the other is only 2 minutes, so everything listed here is close to your gate!” This was stated on each airside.

Auntie Anne’s (A5)

Auntie Anne’s Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel (order fresh with NO butter) with their Sweet Glaze Sauce.

Auntie Anne’s pretzels can be ordered vegan IF they are willing to make yours without the butter that is added BEFORE they go into the oven. This isn’t just a VeggL hack, it’s something that they themselves promote on their website.

Having said that, we’ve had mixed luck trying to do this ourselves. Some locations are willing to do it and some won’t.

Starbucks Reserve (A12)

With the many options of non-dairy milk (oat, almond, soy, coconut) available at all Starbucks, there is almost an infinite number of vegan drinks you can order using.

On the food side, you have a few options including the Chickpea Bites & Avocado Protein Box and Bagels (plain, cinnamon raisin, everything). You can also check for their Strawberry Overnight Grains and snacks.

Chick-fil-A (A12)

You can always go with the Waffle Fries if you’re just looking for a quick snack to hold you over to your destination. If you’re wanting something a bit (okay, a lot) more healthy then the Kale Crunch Side is vegan as well.

Finally, this will require a bit of modification, but a modified Cool Wrap is actually really delicious. Order it with NO chicken, cheese or avocado lime dressing. Grab some Polynesian Sauce to dip it in.

Pei Wei (A14)

Rice and Veggies with a few different choices of sauces. Also offers Edamame if you want a quick snack.

–> We have been informed that the Tampa airport Pei Wei location does not offer tofu or pad thai as we have listed on the chains guide. Some locations have been sporadic with offering it, we suggest asking.

Airside C

Airside C has mostly local restaurants in it. We have not been able to confirm (yet) whether any of those locations have vegan options.
