Sacramento International Airport Vegan Options 2024

Sacramento International Vegan Options

Looking for the vegan options at the Sacramento Airport?

Good news, whether you’re flying out of or flying into Sacramento, we’ve done the research to find all the vegan options available at the airport and we tell you where you can find them.

Before we get started, there are quite a few local restaurants inside the airport. If you know of any of those locations that offer vegan options, we’d love to feature them here – please reach out and let us know so we can highlight them in this guide!

Vegan Options at Sacramento International

Many chain location names are clickable and will take you to the complete vegan guide for that restaurant.

Terminal A

Starbucks (Lower Level Pre-Security)

Starbucks Vegan Options
Starbucks’ Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, iced and hot. Fall Special

With the many options of non-dairy milk (oat, almond, soy, coconut) available at all Starbucks, there is almost an infinite number of vegan drinks you can order using.

On the food side, you have a few options including the Chickpea Bites & Avocado Protein Box and Bagels (plain, cinnamon raisin, everything). You can also check for their Strawberry Overnight Grains and snacks.

Freshii’s (Upper Level Post-Security)

Freshii serves wraps, salads and soups utilizing fresh ingredients. Lucky for us, they have plenty of delicious vegan options! You can choose a menu item that is already Vegan, switch out ingredients or create your own.

We recommend the Umami Salad and then add in falafel. Delicious!

Peet’s Coffee & Tea (Upper Level Post-Security)

Peet’s offers coffee and non-dairy milk options. At their “not airport” locations, they offer a 100% vegan breakfast sandwich. Unfortunately, we have been informed by a VeggL user that the sandwich is not available in the airport.

Vino Volo (Upper Level Post-Security)

We had a VeggL user let us know Vino Volo is an option. We suggest asking what options are or can be made vegan but we were told you can order Avocado Toast, Avocado & Beet salad (minus the feta), and Truffle popcorn without the butter (ask them for a little extra truffle oil instead).

Thank you Bridget for the info!

Terminal B

Peet’s Coffee & Tea (Gate B10)

Peet’s offers coffee and non-dairy milk options. At their “not airport” locations, they offer a 100% vegan breakfast sandwich. Unfortunately, we have been informed by a VeggL user that the sandwich is not available in the airport.

Esquire Grill (close to Gate B10)

We had a VeggL user, Bridget, let us know Esquire Grill is a great vegan option. You can order their Steel cut oatmeal (with banana, walnuts & brown sugar), Roasted Brussel Sprouts (garlic, chili, sesame) or a House Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette. We have not confirmed these options are vegan and suggest verifying before ordering.

In our latest update, we no longer see the Steel Cut Oatmeal on their menu but you can ask. There is Avocado Toast that sounds yummy–we’re just not sure if the bread is vegan-friendly.

If you learn more, please let us knowOpens in a new tab.!

Mango Taco (on your way to Gate B12)

Mango Taco offers Soy Chorizo but they do not share that any menu item is vegan–only vegetarian options are notated. If you happen to stop by and learn that they can make a vegan meal, please let us know so we update here for the next vegan traveler.

Burgers and Brews (on your way to Gate B12)

A VeggL user let us know Burgers and Brews offers an Impossible Burger but you need to ask for NO cheese or mayo. We have not confirmed this to be a vegan option (bun & all), so we suggest double-checking prior to ordering.

Thank you for the info, Michelle!

Vino Volo (Gate B15)

The same VeggL user, Bridget, that reached out about Esquire Grill also let us know Vino Volo is an option. We suggest asking what options are or can be made vegan but we were told you can order Avocado Toast, Avocado & Beet salad (minus the feta), and Truffle popcorn without the butter (ask them for a little extra truffle oil instead).

Starbucks (Gate B16)

New Starbucks Spring Items
The new Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, Ice Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso, Chickpea Box and a cameo from our Miss Mia.

Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters (1st Floor Landside Pre-Security / Baggage Claim)

Our VeggL user Bridget’s name is all over this guide because she was incredibly helpful to us with this airport!

Again, we suggest verifying the vegan options here but she mentioned Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters has excellent coffee, non-dairy milks and vegan protein bars.
