Are you currently walking through the Kahului Airport in Maui, Hawaii and trying to find the best vegan options to grab a bite to eat?
You’re in the right place!
This guide will show you the best vegan options that we found after going through the Kahului Airport’s (OGG) Dining Guide. Even better, we’ll show where you can find each of these options.
No need to play the vegan roll-the-dice game where you decide whether to stop at the ‘okay’ option you just found or keep walking down and crossing your fingers.
Here are the best vegan options we are aware of in the Kahului Airport. Are we missing a good one? Please contact us and let us know so we can improve this guide!
Vegan Options at Kahului Airport
Main Terminal – Central Building
Burger King
With the addition of the Impossible Whopper, Burger King instantly became one of the vegan-friendliest fast food chains. Pair it with some fries and you’ve got a quick and easy vegan order while you’re passing through the airport.
California Pizza Kitchen
California Pizza Kitchen has some really nice vegan options.
If you’re in the mood for pizza we suggest opting for the Plant Based BBQ Chicken Pizza – just order with NO cheese. It comes with plant-based chicken, BBQ sauce, red onions and fresh cilantro. (You can also add pineapple)
If you want something a little bit lighter then you may want to try the Lettuce Wraps with Chinese Vegetables. They come with fresh shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts, rice sticks and scallions tossed in spicy ginger soy sauce with lettuce wraps.
Pinkberry
Pinkberry is a create-your-own frozen yogurt chain. They carry multiple dairy-free yogurt options as well as plenty of vegan-friendly toppings.
If you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, Pinkberry is an excellent choice.
Starbucks
If all else fails you can almost always count on finding a Starbucks inside an airport. They have way too many vegan-friendly drinks to list here, most with either no or only slight modifications needed to order them vegan. I highly suggest checking out our Starbucks Vegan Guide (click on the Starbucks title) to help with ordering a drink.
If you’re also getting food, I would suggest going with a bagel. Starbucks has multiple varieties of bagels that are vegan including the Plain, Cinnamon Raisin and Everything. Look for Justin’s Hazelnut or Classic Almond Butter as a spread.
FYI: There is another Starbucks by Baggage Claim.
