John Glenn Columbus International Airport Vegan Guide (2024)

Columbus Airport Vegan Options

If you’re walking through the John Glenn Columbus International Airport in Columbus, Ohio and you’re trying to figure out what is available vegan (and where you can find it) then you are in the right place! And if you’re not even at the airport yet and you’re here planning ahead then bonus points for you.

We’ve taken the time to scour through the Columbus (CMH) Airport’s Dining Guide to find everything vegan-friendly in the airport and where everything is located.

We are also very fortunate that we have our VeggL community that often reaches out to us to let us know  about vegan options that they find in airports as well.

So, without further ado, here is your Vegan Guide to the John Glenn Columbus International Airport.

Vegan Options at Columbus Airport

Concourse A

Auntie Anne’s

Auntie Anne's
Auntie Anne’s Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel (order fresh with NO butter) with their Sweet Glaze Sauce.

Auntie Anne’s pretzels can be ordered vegan IF they are willing to make yours without the butter that is added BEFORE they go into the oven. This isn’t just a VeggL hack, it’s something that they themselves promote on their website.

Having said that, we’ve had mixed luck trying to do this ourselves. Some locations are willing to do it and some won’t.

Best case scenario you’ll have a bit of a wait because your pretzel will need to be made and cooked. Worst case scenario you get your hopes up for one of those delicious-smelling pretzels and you end up getting let down.

FYI: There is also an Auntie Anne’s in Concourse B.

Farmer’s Fridge

Vegan Options in a fridge (aka a vending machine), touchless ordering and offers a reward program with the Farmer’s Fridge app. You can find a variety of options ranging from oats, a burrito bowl, chips & guac and even vegan cookie dough bites. These options will always vary.

FYI: There is a Farmer’s Fridge in each concourse of the airport.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams

If you’re not already familiar, Jeni’s is an artisan ice cream company that was founded right here in Columbus, Ohio. They are not an exclusively vegan company, but they do offer many varieties of vegan ice cream.

Look for popular flavors like Cold Brew with Coconut Cream or Roasted Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jam Non-Dairy Dessert.

If you’ve never had Jeni’s you’ll probably notice that the ice cream is a little on the expensive side, but it’s totally worth trying out!

FYI: There is another Jeni’s location in Concourse C.

Starbucks

Vegan Options at Starbucks
Starbucks’ Cinnamon Caramel Nitro Cold Brew, veganized! 3/2023

If all else fails you can almost always count on finding a Starbucks inside an airport (there is actually a Starbucks in each Concourse of the airport). They have way too many vegan-friendly drinks to list here, most with either no or only slight modifications needed to order them vegan.

I suggest the Toasted Vanilla Shaken Espresso or click on Starbucks above to see our full guide.

If you’re also getting food, I would suggest going with a bagel. Starbucks has multiple varieties of bagels that are vegan including the Plain, Cinnamon Raisin and Everything. Look for Justin’s Hazelnut or Classic Almond Butter as a spread.
