Jacksonville International Airport Vegan Guide (2024)

Jacksonville Airport Vegan Options

If you’re walking through the Jacksonville International Airport in Jacksonville, Florida and you’re trying to figure out what’s vegan (and where you can find it) then you are in the right place! And if you’re not even at the airport yet and you’re here planning ahead then bonus points for you.

We’ve taken the time to research through the Jacksonville (JAX) Airport’s Dining Guide to find everything vegan-friendly in the airport and where everything is located.

We are also very fortunate that we have our VeggL community that often reaches out to us to let us know about vegan options that they find in airports as well.

So, let’s get right to it, here is your Vegan Guide to the Jacksonville International Airport.

Vegan Options at Jacksonville Airport

Pre-Security

Starbucks Strawberry Creme Frappuccino with Oat Milk and NO whip.

Starbucks

If all else fails you can almost always count on finding a Starbucks inside an airport (there are actually 3 Starbucks in the Jacksonville Airport). They have way too many vegan-friendly drinks to list here, most with either no or only slight modifications needed to order them vegan.

I suggest the Toasted Vanilla Shaken Espresso or click on Starbucks above to see our full guide.

If you’re also getting food, I would suggest going with a bagel. Starbucks has multiple varieties of bagels that are vegan including the Plain, Cinnamon Raisin and Everything. Look for Justin’s Hazelnut or Classic Almond Butter as a spread.

FYI: If you want to wait until after you get through the security checkpoint, there are Starbucks locations in the Post-Security Food Court and Concourse C.

Post-Security Food Court

Auntie Anne's
Auntie Anne’s Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel (order fresh with NO butter) with their Sweet Glaze Sauce.

Auntie Anne’s

Auntie Anne’s pretzels can be ordered vegan IF they are willing to make yours without the butter that is added BEFORE they go into the oven. This isn’t just a VeggL hack, it’s something that they themselves promote on their website.

Having said that, we’ve had mixed luck trying to do this ourselves. Some locations are willing to do it and some won’t.

Best case scenario you’ll have a bit of a wait because your pretzel will need to be made and cooked. Worst case scenario you get your hopes up for one of those delicious-smelling pretzels and you end up getting let down.

Firehouse Subs

You can opt for either a sub or a salad. For the Veggie Sub, you can get either wheat or white bread. Make sure to specify NO mayo or cheese. The sub comes with sauteed bell peppers, sauteed and raw onion, lettuce, tomato, mustard and Italian dressing.

The Plain Firehouse Salad needs to be ordered with NO cheese and one of their vegan-friendly dressings (Balsamic for example).

Sbarro

No vegan faux meat toppings or non-dairy cheese, but if you’re in the mood for pizza Sbarro’s dough and sauce are vegan so you can create your own cheeseless pizza.

The Hell’s Kitchen Potato Wedges are also pretty good if you’re just looking for a quick snack.

FYI: There is another Starbucks in Concourse C.

Concourse A

Chili’s Too

Not a ton of vegan options at Chili’s, but there also isn’t very many dining options in Concourse A.

If you just want a quick snack to pass the time you could order the Bottomless Chips with either Guacamole or Salsa. For something a bit healthier, you could also order the House Salad (with NO croutons or cheese).
