If you’re walking through the Jacksonville International Airport in Jacksonville, Florida and you’re trying to figure out what’s vegan (and where you can find it) then you are in the right place! And if you’re not even at the airport yet and you’re here planning ahead then bonus points for you.
We’ve taken the time to research through the Jacksonville (JAX) Airport’s Dining Guide to find everything vegan-friendly in the airport and where everything is located.
We are also very fortunate that we have our VeggL community that often reaches out to us to let us know about vegan options that they find in airports as well.
Jacksonville does have a couple of other restaurants we were not able to get information about so if you stop by one of them and learn more, please let us know so we can update this guide for the next vegan traveler!
Vegan Options at Jacksonville Airport
Chain location names are clickable and will take you to the complete vegan guide for that restaurant. Be aware that airport location menus can vary though.
PRE-SECURITY
Southern Grounds
Southern Grounds is a chef-driven coffee house. We have not confirmed what non-dairy milks are offered or if any food is vegan-friendly. If you happen to stop by and learn more, please let us know!
POST-SECURITY FOOD COURT
Delta Sky Club (just after security – towards A Gates)
We were made aware by a VeggL user that the Delta Sky Club offers vegan options.
Chili’s (just after security – towards A Gates)
We suggest cross-referencing our Chili’s vegan guide with this airport location’s menu, as they can vary. We do know they offer their vegan-friendly black bean patty. Make sure you are aware of how to order a burger with its modifications.
If you just want a quick snack to pass the time you could order the Bottomless Chips with either Guacamole or Salsa. For something a bit healthier, you could also order the House Salad (with NO croutons or cheese).
Verdi Market (just after security – towards C Gates)
A VeggL user let us know that Verdi Market has many grab n go vegan items ranging from Siete brand chips, hummus and vegan protein drink options, vegan jerky and chocolate bars to non dairy options at the coffee bar.
Thank you for the info, Jennifer!
Vino Volo (just after security – towards C Gates)
We had a VeggL user let us know Vino Volo is an option. We suggest asking what options are or can be made vegan but we were told you can order Avocado Toast, Avocado & Beet salad (minus the feta), and Truffle popcorn without the butter (ask them for a little extra truffle oil instead).
CONCOURSE A
Burger Fi (Gate A1)
Look for Burger Fi’s Beyond Burger on the menu then make sure no dairy or eggs are on it–NO cheese, mayo or sauce. Ask for the multigrain bun or a lettuce bun if it doesn’t automatically come with it. Add fries & a drink!
Southern Grounds (Gate A4)
Southern Grounds is a chef-driven coffee house. We have not confirmed what non-dairy milks are offered or if any food is vegan-friendly. If you happen to stop by and learn more, please let us know!
CONCOURSE C
Firehouse Subs (Gate C3)
You can opt for either a sub or a salad. For the Veggie Sub, you can get either wheat or white bread. Make sure to specify NO mayo or cheese. The sub comes with sauteed bell peppers, sauteed and raw onion, lettuce, tomato, mustard and Italian dressing.
The Plain Firehouse Salad needs to be ordered with NO cheese and one of their vegan-friendly dressings (Balsamic for example).
Starbucks (Gate C4)
With the many options of non-dairy milk (oat, almond, soy, coconut) available at all Starbucks, there is almost an infinite number of vegan drinks you can order.
On the food side, you have a couple of options including Bagels (plain or everything–ask if they have guacamole or a peanut butter packet to top it with) or Oatmeal. Airport locations may be limited so you can also check the ingredients on their snacks.
