Thanks to a helpful tip from one our readers and answers given from Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors, we have been able to uncover the arenas vegan options.
Along with Chase Center’s vegan food options, we have provided you with the policies you may need to know if you’re thinking about bringing your own food or drinks into the stadium. We also list their bag policies since these tend to go hand in hand.
Should you choose to eat before or after your event, we have given you a few vegan restaurant options towards the bottom of the guide. San Francisco has so many vegan-friendly restaurants to choose from!
Vegan Options at Chase Center
The Green House
This is an all-vegan eatery! …and one of the first in the NBA. Pretty cool. The Green House’s menu includes a vegan burger, Spicy Potato Tacos, Portobello Banh Mi, Reuben Sandwich, Salad, juices, beer and wine. We have been told the Banh Mi is exceptional.

Sadie’s Delicatessen
Vegan Pastrami Sandwich. We did hear from a VeggL user that Sadie’s was not carrying the Vegan Pastrami Sandwich at the event they were at so double-check when you go.

Feel-good Filipino flavors for vegans and omnivores alike.
Look for the Shanghai Lumpia. This is the only vegan option we have been made aware of.

Can I Bring Food Into Chase Center?
Sometimes it just feels easier to bring your own food to an event. If you’re thinking of doing exactly that, then here are a few policies at Chase Center that you need to be aware of. We pulled all of these directly from Chase Center’s A to Z Guide.
Bag Policy (as of 10.11.23)
We highly encourage our fans to leave personal bags at home. Bag size guidelines will be strictly enforced. All bags will be screened by Security prior to entry into Chase Center.
- Purses (including fashion backpack purses) and diaper bags that have the appearance of backpacks will be allowed, provided that they meet the L14″ x W6″ x H14″ size requirement.
- All bags under L14” x W6” x H14” and bags accepted as medical bags will be subject to thorough screening, including the use of x-ray screening where available, which can delay entry.
- All bags larger than L14″ x W6″ x H14″ will need to be checked at our bag valet location on Terry A Francois Blvd ($10 bag check fee – subject to change).
- Backpacks (except for single-compartment drawstring bags that meet the NBA bag-size requirements and media backpacks that have been screened at the media entrance) are prohibited from entering Chase Center.

Food & Beverage Policy (as of 10.11.23)
- Chase Center does not allow for outside food or beverages to be brought into the arena.
If you have a dietary request or restrictions, please email us at GuestExperiences@Warriors.com. We will always do our best to accommodate so that every guest has food and beverage options.
Vegan Options Near Chase Center
We always like getting a bite to eat before or after the game as part of our ‘gameday experience’. So, we do a little research on good vegan-friendly spots close to the arena and we’re sharing with you what we found when we did this with Chase Center.
This is by no means a complete list (in fact, there are about a dozen great choices about a half mile west of the arena), just a couple of places that caught our attention.
Next Level Burger Potrero Hill
450 Rhode Island St, San Francisco, CA 94107
Next Level Burger is a vegan burger chain with house-made patties, Beyond meat patties, crispy chik’n filets, fries, sweet potato fries, tots, onion rings, nuggets, salads and shakes. And it’s less than a mile from the arena!
Shizen Vegan Sushi Bar and Izakaya
370 14th St, San Francisco, CA 94103
The highest-rated of all the vegan restaurants close to the stadium is Shizen Vegan Sushi Bar (4.7 out of 5.0 with over 1800 reviews on Google). It’s a vegan sushi and ramen restaurant located about two miles west of the arena.
If you go, make sure you try some of the vegan sushi rolls – people rave about them. I know we have it on our bucket list for sure!
