Capital One Arena Vegan Options 2024 (Washington Wizards & Capitals)

Washington Wizards Vegan

The vegan options at Capital One Arena, home of the Washington Wizards and Capitals, are more like snacks rather than a meal.

With that in mind, you may think about bringing your own food to the game. But, before you do that, make sure you become familiar with some of the policies that we have listed below.

Finally, we also looked around the area close to the arena to find a couple of good vegan-friendly restaurants where you can easily grab food before or after the game.

Vegan Options Near Capital One Arena

We always like getting a bite to eat before or after the game as part of our gameday experience.

So, we researched places close to the stadium to find good vegan-friendly spots to try out. We went ahead and did this for Capital One Arena and we’re sharing a couple that caught our attention with you.

Be sure to check days/hours open when making plans.

PLNT Burger

101 H St SE, Washington, DC 20003Opens in a new tab.

Located only a mile and a half north of the arena is PLNT Burger, a location that is high up on our bucket list to try. This location is right inside Whole Foods so it should be pretty easy to find.

PLNT Burger is a growing chain with around 10 locations now, mostly in Virginia. We’ve heard their burgers are amazing and can’t wait to try one ourselves. Definitely worth checking out if you get the chance.

HipCityVeg

712 7th St NW, Washington, DC 20001Opens in a new tab.

HipCityVeg is another vegan chain located primarily in Philadelphia and DC. We got a chance to try HipCityVeg a few times while we were living in Philly.

This particular location is great because it’s basically directly across the street from the arena!

All the burgers we tried were great, sweet potato fries are really good and we both were especially fond of the Banana Whip. If you’ve never had it, banana whip is an ice cream like dessert that uses only bananas and then you can choose various toppings.

If you’ve never tried it, we highly recommend it!
