^In my most recent overhaul of this guide (August 2026), I noticed the sweet potato fries are listed twice on their allergen guide. One notes eggs as being an ingredient; the other does not. Their allergen guide states it was updated 7.28.26. Prior to that, the sweet potato fries did not have egg as an allergen. Until we learn more, ask your location if you are concerned.

The Cheesecake Factory Vegan FAQ

Vegan Options at Cheesecake Factory

Is the Korean Cauliflower Vegan?

This varies based on location so we took it off the menu above. The batter is made using rice flour and water; however, some locations dip the cauliflower in egg prior to battering and we have been informed that the sauce may contain honey. Ask before ordering!

The reason it was on our guide before was because a vegan general manager has been a contact and informed us this was a vegan option without the ranch. We also confirmed this with guest services. Since then, we have received a couple of emails (referring to locations in different parts of the country) stating that their location uses egg to batter or their sauce contains honey. There are too many inconsistencies.

The email we received in response to our questions regarding the Korean Cauliflower itself containing animal products from the Cheesecake Factory’s guest services says, “I am able to share with you that it does not contain any eggs, dairy or honey.”

If you really want this option, we suggest you ask your server for clarity of the ingredients they are using at your location.

Is the Impossible Burger at The Cheesecake Factory vegan?

As of late February 2026, the Impossible patty is being removed from every location.

Below shares the answer for when it was on the menu.

Be aware that there are now 2 versions of the Impossible Burger at The Cheesecake Factory. The one that is on the Skinnylicious menu and has mayo on it is NOT vegan. The other one– the one that specifically says it has vegan cheese, and includes a special sauce, is vegan-friendly. The special sauce is a vegan 1000 island type of sauce. The brioche bun is vegan-friendly as well.

Is the Veggie Burger vegan at The Cheesecake Factory?

It used to be and as of August 2026. it’s a bit confusing. At some point between, “it used to be” and 2026, there were a few years where the veggie burger had heavy cream it and so the Beyond Burger, that was added to the menu (with vegan cheese), became the vegan default burger.

With the beyond burger no longer on the menu, we have reached out to The Cheesecake Factory to ask for more clarification and ingredient details on the Veggie Burger. Stay tuned for more information.

Where I’m hesitant is the Veggie Burger states it contains no dairy on the allergen guide yet comes with cheese. Maybe this means the patty itself is vegan-friendly now… I’m just not sure.

We share their vegan-friendly Impossible Burger in this video. It is no longer on the menu as of 2026.
