* Qdoba notes their vegan options specifically on their dietary menu. With that said, they are still a shared kitchen. And as with any restaurant that is not 100% vegan or does not offer a designated cooking space for their vegan options, cross-contamination can occur and fryers/grills may be shared with animal products.

You can choose what your level of comfort is with these potential issues.

Is Qdoba’s Loaded Tortilla Soup Vegan?

Qdoba offers a Tortilla Soup for limited times. As of 2026, we’re not sure if it is vegan. We had the Tortilla Soup as being vegan, on this guide, since January 2024 because Qdoba had it noted as being vegan. Their most recent dietary guideOpens in a new tab. (dated 10.14.25) has it noted as vegetarian and no longer vegan. I have contacted Qdoba is a couple of different ways thus far and have yet to receive an answer as to why. The only allergen noted is soy, which means there is no dairy or egg. And if it’s vegetarian, what other animal ingredient could be in it? If you are still interested in their tortilla soup, you will need to ask your location if they have more info.  -Jen

This was our original article created about Qdoba’s Loaded Tortilla Soup being vegan in January 2024.

Does Qdoba Offer Impossible Meat?

Here is the timeline: In February of 2019, we learned that Qdoba was testing Impossible Meat and ultimately rolled it out to all locations by the end of May that year.

Around December 2022, Qdoba removed Impossible Meat from many of their locations and chose to only serve it at restaurants that from our understanding, it does well at. Then in February 2023, Qdoba made a statement that they would no longer be offering it.

We still had VeggL users letting us know random one-off locations still had it but that even seems to be gone now.

As of 2025, we are unaware of any locations that still offer it; however, their dietary guide (most recent dated 10.14.25) still has it on there but states, only at select locations. We are trying to get a list of which locations that we can share but in the meantime,  if you happen to know of any that do, please let us knowOpens in a new tab.!

Does Qdoba have vegan cheese?

No. Qdoba has yet to offer a vegan cheese.

Are Qdoba’s Chile Creme and Jalapeno Verde Sauces vegan?

No. According to the Qdoba’s Allergen guide, the chile creme contains egg and the jalapeno verde sauce has both dairy and egg.
