We would love to see Pizza Hut offer vegan cheese but until they do (see our FAQ), you can go the no-cheese pizza route as a majority of their doughs are accidentally vegan. Pile your crust high with veggies and add an order of Cinnamon Sticks (NO icing) or Fried Apple Pie for dessert.

You do have the option to ask for the worker to use gloves and a clean pizza cutter due to cross-contamination. They specifically state this on their site.

Is Pizza Hut offering dairy-free cheese?

It’s July 2026… as I’m updating our Pizza Hut guide, I see that dairy-free cheese is on Pizza Hut’s ingredient list. I am still working on learning why that is since my question kept getting redirected in my initial attempt. They kept saying to contact my local Pizza Hut. I did. They do not have it. So my question is… who does?

No. Pizza Hut’s Barbeque Pizza Sauce and Barbeque Dipping Sauce contain honey.

Does Pizza Hut offer a Vegan “meat?”

It was a short run. Do you may remember back in November 2020 (11.10.20 to be exact)? All locations in the United States began offering Beyond Meat Italian Sausage Crumbles with a proprietary seasoning blend, for a limited time. The limited time lasted until January 2021.

In August of 2021, Pizza Hut offered Beyond Pepperoni at certain locations but that lasted for a limited time.

As far as we’re aware, they have not attempted a vegan cheese nor have they brought back any of these limited time offers to make them permanent at any point since.
