Melt bar & grilled is known for their world-famous gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, seasonal sides, beer & cocktails.
But I’m sure you are asking, just as we are, do their world-famous gourmet grilled cheeses also include Vegan Grilled Cheeses?
YES! …and a whole lot more! We think this needs to be a much bigger chain than just in Ohio. The following options are on their regular menu but check to see what vegan seasonal specials your location might have.

- Vegan Cowboy Salad … comes with mixed greens, vegan grilled chicken, crumbled tortillas, fire-roasted corn salsa, cherry tomato, avocado and vegan cowboy sauce.
- Awesome Noodle #1 … comes with fresh spinach, chopped cabbage, lo mien noodles, avocado, cherry tomato, mint, cilantro, basil, scallions, candied peanuts tossed with sweet thai chili lime vinaigrette and peanut sesame drizzle.

Ryan’s Pick: Ordered the Fried Pickles, Chorizo & Potato Grilled Cheese and the Mac & Cheese.Â
Fried Pickles, amazing! They’re full pickle spears and come with a vegan ranch. So good. The Chorizo & Potato Grilled Cheese was excellent as well. Would probably try a different sandwich next time, but I enjoyed it. The Mac & Cheese was… eh. Cheese was a little runny for my taste and there just wasn’t a lot of flavor.
Overall, can’t wait to go back.
Jen’s Pick: I shared the Fried Pickles with Ryan then ordered the French Onion Soup and Cowboy Salad for myself. All three of these, I would get again. We can never find vegan fried pickles so that was awesome, plus they are really good. The Cowboy Salad I was taking mental notes on so I could recreate it at home. But the star goes to the French Onion Soup. Wow. It was incredible and highly recommended.Â
