We are currently waiting to hear back from Hard Rock Stadium to know what vegan options they will be offering during the 2023 season.

In the meantime, we have one very vegan-friendly grab & go from the 2022-2023 season.

Below that, we share what their bag policy is along with information on if you can bring your own food in and/or drinks.

Lastly, you will see a couple of vegan-friendly restaurants should you want to eat somewhere before the game, pick up food on your way in, or eat after.

The following is from the 2022-2023 season so until we hear back from Hard Rock Stadium, we suggest double checking the info is still correct.

Can I Bring Food Into Hard Rock Stadium?


Thinking about bringing your own food to the game? Here are some policies at Hard Rock Stadium that you want to be aware of. We pulled them directly from Hard Rock Stadium’s A to Z Guide.

Bag Policy (as of 8.24.23)

Hard Rock Stadium follows the NFL’s bag guidelines.

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or 30.5 x 15.25 x 30.5 cm are permitted. This includes clear backpacks, clear fanny packs and clear cinch bags that fit within the permissible dimensions.
  • No buckles, grommets/hardware or décor can be concealing any part of the bag.
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziplock bag or similar).
  • Logo can only be on one side of the bag.
  • Small bags, non-clear bags that do not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″ in size, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags.

All guests will be subject to a search of their person and possessions prior to entering Hard Rock Stadium.

Food & Beverage (as of 8.24.23)

Permitted:

  • Food in a clear plastic bag for guests with special medical or dietary needs only is permitted.
  • Factory-sealed, plastic bottles of water that are 20 oz. or less in size (reusable water bottles are not permitted) are permitted.

Not Permitted:

  • Glass bottles, cans, coolers of any kind, thermoses or ice chests
  • Alcohol of any kind

We looked around the area close to the stadium to find a few vegan spots that would be good places to get a bite to eat before or after the game. And unfortunately, I’m shocked and disappointed to only give you one… and then to top it off, it’s a chain.

Bowls, burritos, tacos or even nachos with sofritas, beans, corn salsa, greens, salsas and guacamole. Fast casual and easy-to-order vegan options. This Chipotle sits just over 2 1/2 miles from the stadium.
